Aryan Khan Drugs case: witness Kiran Gosavi's attempts to surrender in Lucknow fail

Kiran Gosavi, a private investigator and key NCB witness in the drugs case against Aryan Khan, tried to surrender before the Lucknow police on Monday but according to news reports his efforts failed. 

NDTV quoted the Lucknow police commissioner as saying that Gosavi cannot surrender in Lucknow since the police there does not have any jurisdiction to take action against him.

Gosavi had said that he wants to surrender in Lucknow because he feels threatened in Maharashtra. 

An unverified audio clip of a purported telephonic conversation between Gosavi and a policeman from Madiyaon police station has been doing round in which the officer can be heard telling the private investigator that he cannot surrender there. Later, the SHO was quoted by ANI as saying that he had not received any call for surrender.
