Dogs feed on dead bodies washed up at Uttarakhand riverbank, 'death of humanity', say locals

Shocking videos making rounds of social media show stray dogs eating remains of human bodies at the Kedar Ghat on the banks of river Bhagirathi in Uttarkashi. Partly burnt corpses had washed up on the banks of the river after rainfall over the past few days, according to a report by news agency ANI. Locals say, the incident marks the 'death of humanity' . But fear and panic has also crept in , with many suggesting these could be dead bodies of Covid-19 patients. Residents have urged the civic authorities to take immediate action.
