Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday issued guidelines in wake of the coming weekend curfew imposed in the national capital to curb the Covid infection spread. According to a statement from the DMRC, metro services will be available with a headway of 15 minutes across the whole network on 17 and 18 April 2021.

The two sections, where there is a bifurcation in the network i.e, Noida/Vaishali section and Kirti Nagar/Inderlok section, services will be available after every 30 minutes.

The DMRC said infection-containment measures will be made even more stringent to ensure there is no crowding in the coaches or at the platforms. Out-flying squads are checking compliance and penalising the violators, a DMRC official said.
