The Delhi High Court on Tuesday granted bail to the Pinjra Tod activist Devangana Kalita in the northeast Delhi violence case. The court said that the police failed to produce any evidence of her instigating women of a particular community or giving hate speeches. The court granted Kalita bail on furnishing a personal bond of Rs 20,000 and also directed her to not tamper any evidences or influence any witnesses. Kalita who had 4 cases registered against her, will still not be released from jail.
