The White House on Monday reassured that the Joe Biden administration is eager to continue its partnership in assisting India to combat the Covid-19 pandemic
Speaking about the delay in vaccine grants to India, White House Spokesperson Jen Psaki said that the hold-up is not on the USA's end. She added that there are legal and regulatory issues that need to be worked.

While the US has shipped over 110 million vaccines to middle and low-income countries, India has been only allocated 7.5 million doses due to unresolved liability issues between the Indian government and vaccine manufacturers.
