Dawood Ibrahim's brother Iqbal Kaskar in NCB custody, grilled in drugs case

The NCB on Wednesday said that it has taken Wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's brother Iqbal Kaskar into custody in a in a case related to inter-state drug supply. 

He was grilled after international links emerged in the wake of series of investigations over the past year during which the federal agency busted several narcotics networks in Mumbai.

Kaskar was deported to India from the United Arab Emirates in 2003 as he was wanted in a murder case and the Sara Sahara illegal construction case. However, he was acquitted in both the cases in 2007.

The brother of gangster and Mumbai serial blasts mastermind, Dawood Ibrahim was arrested in 2017 for extorting money from builders and businessmen in Thane and charged under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act.
