Cyclone Tauktae is wreaking havoc on the Bollywood and the television industry. While no shoots are happening in Maharashtra due to the Covid-induced lockdown, a few television serials are filming in Gujarat's Silvassa.
Many other sets including Star Plus' popular TV show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' have been destroyed. Actor Karan Kundrra, who recently entered the show posted a video, in which the crew can be seen trying their best to wrap up and running for a safer place. The entire set including furniture and other belongings can be seen completely destroyed due to the cyclone.
Sony SAB's sitcom 'Wagle Ki Duniya' is also dealing with the aftermath of the cyclone. The cast and crew of the show have been facing power failures but are still trying to manage to meet their target of the episode.
Not just this, Yash Raj Films which has an open set in Mumbai is also reportedly damaged due to this untimely rain.
