Cycling for a Cause, Creating Awareness about Rural Development Scheme

Well-known para-cyclist Rakesh Banik has embarked on a 20-day cycle tour of Assam to create awareness about the welfare schemes of the Assam Panchayat and Rural Development ministry. The tour was flagged off by Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Naba Doley in Guwahati. Para-cyclist Banik would criss-cross Assam starting from Boko to several places of the state including Goalpara, Barpeta Road, Tezpur, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh via Bogibeel, Namrup, Nazira, Nagaon and back to Guwahati.
