Model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner is facing accusations of cultural appropriation over her tequila brand's recently-released ad campaign.

Kendall also shared on Instagram several photos taken at an agave farm in Mexico Jalisco where the tequila is being produced.  While the promotional video shows her riding a horse to agave fields. It also features agave farmers working alongside the model.

The visuals, along with Kendall's choice of outfit and hairstyle, left many unhappy.

Twitter users have called her out for using the ‘Mexican look’ to promote her tequila brand with several pointing out how ‘white celebrities profit off’ Mexican traditions and agricultural business. Another upset user wrote ‘Mexicans do not wear hair in braids or ride horses all the time’. Several Twitter users also noted that farmers who work the agave fields are often exploited and underpaid.
