A fresh development in the case of Anjali Singh's death has once again changed the suspected story of how she died after being dragged by a car for 13 km.

Delhi Police on 5 January 2023 said that four persons were in the car that hit her scooty. For many days after her death on 1 January 2023, it was believed that 5 men were in the car.

Investigators said that Deepak who was believed to be driving at the time of the accident, was actually at home. The accused lied since the real driver Amit did not have a driving license, and Deepak is his cousin, police said.
