Mumbai woman murder: accused Manoj Sane says victim was like his daughter

The man accused of killing his alleged live-in partner in their flat in a Mumbai suburb has told the police that he is HIV+ and had never had a physical relationship with the woman, according to a report by The Indian Express

56-year-old Manoj Sane told the police that Saraswati Vaidya was like a daughter to him and that he was teaching her maths. He claimed that 32-year-old Vaidya wanted to appear for Class 10 boards. 

Sane is accused of killing Vaidya and chopping her body into pieces. He has however claimed that she died by suicide and he cut her body as he was scared.
