Mumbai murder: victim told orphanage she was living with 'rich uncle'

The 32-year-old woman who was allegedly killed by her live-in partner in Maharashtra's Thane had told her orphanage that she is living with her maternal uncle in Mumbai, according to a report by NDTV. 

The news outlet quoted an employee of the Jankibai Apte Balikashram in Ahmednagar as saying that the victim, Saraswati Vaidya had told them that her uncle is very rich and owns cloth mills. 

56-year-old Manoj Sane and Saraswati had been living together for 9 years. Sane was arrested after chopped and boiled body parts of Saraswati were found in a Thane flat.
