A man allegedly tied the hands and legs of his Ghaziabad-based fashion blogger wife before pushing her off a building in Agra leading to 30-year-old Ritika Singh’s death.
The accused husband Aakash Gautam and two others have been arrested.
Gautam was angry over the woman staying with a friend at an apartment in Agra, and an argument between the two ended in the fatal incident.
Police said they received information that Ritika died after falling off the fourth floor of a building in the Nagla Mewati area. During the investigation, it was found that her husband came with his family members on Friday and an argument broke out, and she was eventually pushed off the building.
Her family said Ritika had pursued a course in social media and blogging and began a fashion, lifestyle, and travel blogging account two years ago. She had amassed more than 44,000 followers on Instagram.
She met Aakash in 2014 and the two got married. Her family alleged that he would live off her earnings and she had faced constant abuse.

Tired of the abuse, she shifted from her husband's home and began living with her friend, whom she had met on Facebook.
