Following the death of a 20-year-old woman after she was allegedly dragged under a car, her mother narrated her harrowing experience.

She said that her daughter was the sole breadwinner of the family. The mother said, "I spoke to her at 9 o’clock day before yesterday. She said she’ll come home after work by morning, or by 3-4 am."

"At half past 7, police called and said an accident had taken place. I thought it must be a minor accident," she added.

Then the ordeal began. "They sent a car and wasted 2-3 hours. They took me to Sultanpuri Thana. I asked them to let me meet my daughter and care for her if she’s injured. They kept saying they’ll let me meet her soon," the mother said.

Finally, when the deceased's uncle came to the police station, cops informed the family about the death.
