Delhi: Woman dies after fighting bag snatchers, falling off e-rickshaw

In a shocking incident in Delhi, a 56-year-old woman died while trying to prevent thieves from stealing her bag.

In the incident in Delhi's Prashant Vihar area, three men on a two-wheeler allegedly tried to snatch the woman's bag.

The victim, who has been identified as Sunita Mittal, was travelling on an e-rickshaw. She was reportedly dragged onto the road while she attempted to save her bag from thieves.

She was hospitalized post the incident but succumbed to the injuries.

Delhi Police took cognizance of the October 26 incident and formed teams to the nab the accused.

As per media reports, a case under murder and robbery/dacoity was lodged.
