Requesting people to refrain from bursting crackers, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced that his government will organise Laxmi Puja this Diwali. The puja will be live-streamed from 7.39 pm on the day of Diwali, he said. Kejriwal went on to urge people to watch the live stream and perform the puja rituals at home instead of going out and bursting crackers and adding to the already high levels of pollution in the state.
