India has recorded a sharp increase of 3,000 cases in its daily Covid count.
9,629 new infections were reported in 24 hours, as per data released on the morning of April 26, 2023. A day earlier, this number was 6,660.
However, the number of active cases went down to 61,013 from 63,380 a day ago.
29 deaths were recorded in a day, with 10 casualties reconciled by Kerala.
