India's Covid graph continued a downward slide with 50,407 new cases being recorded in 24 hours. As per Covid data updated by the Union government on February 12 morning, the national positivity rate declined to 3.48%.
A day earlier, 58,077 new infections had been recorded with a positivity rate of 3.89%. Daily positivity rate is the proportion of positive results out of total tests conducted in a day.

On a grim note, 804 deaths were recorded in 24 hours. The total number of deaths has reached 5,07,981.
Meanwhile, 1.36 lakh recoveries took the recovery rate to 97.37%. The total number of Covid patients who have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic is 4.14 crore.
India's active caseload currently stands at 6,10,443.
On the vaccination front, 172.29 crore jabs have been administered so far.
