India recorded a massive jump in new Covid cases as infections jumped to 10,158 in just one day, as per data released on the morning of 13 April 2023.
This is the highest single-day rise in eight months, as per the news agency PTI. A day earlier, 7,830 cases had been recorded in 24 hours.
The count of active cases in India has risen to 44,998.
