For the second day in a row, new Covid infections in India remained above the 9,000 mark.
In 24 hours, 9,355 new cases were recorded, as per data released on the morning of April 27, 2023.
However, active cases declined to 57,410 from 61,013 a day ago.
26 deaths were reported in 24 hours, including 6 casualties reconciled by Kerala.
