Amid growing concern over rising Covid cases, government sources have said that the trend may continue for 10-12 days.
Infections may rise for around 2 weeks, and then subside, according to sources quoted by the news outlet NDTV.
They added that Covid has entered an endemic stage, in which infections are limited to a particular region.
