After cricketer Pat Cummins, former Australian cricketer Brett Lee too made his contribution to India's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Lee who is currently in India for IPL 2021, announced that he will donate 1 Bitcoin towards Covid relief in India. Currently, the price of 1 Bitcoin in India is nearly 41 Lakhs.
Lee tweeted,that he felt privileged to be in a position to make a difference, and that he could help purchase oxygen supplies for hospitals across India.
India is grappling with the 2nd wave of Covid-19, the country registered 3.23 lakh new infections, with 2,771 deaths on Tuesday.
