Amid talks of a Mahajoot (grand alliance) Congress MP from Kaliabor, Gaurav Gogoi met peasant leader and Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Tuesday. The jailed leader is undergoing treatment at the hospital for past several days after he had tested positive for COVID. Gaurav Gogoi told reporters that he paid a visit to the peasant leader to get an update on his health as per his father’s (former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi) wishes.
