CM Sarma shows fatherly affection towards a minority child in Kokrajhar

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma patted and showed fatherly affection towards a young child in Kokrajhar. He made a visit to Kokrajhar after dead bodies of two girls were found hanging from a tree on Sunday. During his visit he met and talk to some village people The Chief Minister asked them to take family planning norms. “ People should try to adopt family planning norms. You can send your children to school when you have money. ,” he said. During the conversation he patted a child on his head who was on his mother's cuddle. He asked the child' name and his mother replied to him that her son's name is Ajimul Islam. The mother also said her name Ajmina Khatun when the Chief Minister wanted to know.

The people said to him that the children did not receive anganbadi rice when the Chief Minister asked about it. “ Minor school goers recive rice under the Anganbadi scheme. So, you should send your children to school. ”, he said. But the people told him that their children did not receive the rice for sometime. Then, he asked how many days the children did not receive the rice.

Chief Minister Sarma of late urged the minority community people to adopt decent family planning norms for their progress.
