PM Modi addresses World Economic Forum, says it is the best time to invest in India

PM Modi at WEF's Davos: Addressing the World Economic Forum's Davos Agenda via video-conferencing, PM Narendra Modi said this is the best time to invest in India. 

The Prime Minister highlighted India's adaptability to new tech and the flood of unicorns in the country. India currently houses the third-highest unicorns globally, he said, adding that the country, which was once known for licence raj, is nowadays encouraging ease of doing business and reducing govt involvement in businesses.

Asserting that India is making its policies today while focussing on requirements for not just the present but also for the next 25 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said this period of growth would be 'green and clean' as well as 'sustainable and reliable'.

The virtual event, which started from Monday will continue till January 21.
