CNG prices saw a sharp increase in prices in Delhi for a second day in a row. IGL raises CNG price by Rs 2.50/kg to Rs 69.11/kg in Delhi on Thursday following a similar hike on Wednesday.

In the last two days, IGL hiked CNG price by Rs 5/kg. And, it’s a 3rd hike in April with total hike this month at Rs 9.10/kg. The steep hikes follow the govt allowing domestic gas producers to double their prices at the start of April.

Meanwhile to ease the pressure Maharashtra govt earlier this month cut VAT on CNG making the fuel cheaper by Rs 6.
