Accenture will invest $3 billion over the course of three years in its Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) practice to drive the adoption of AI across all industries.

According to the firm, as part of its ambitious AI plans, the IT services company would invest in assets, industry solutions, ventures, acquisitions, and ecosystem alliances to build new skills and capabilities across diagnostic and generative AI.

Through recruiting, acquisitions, and training, the corporation will double its AI talent to 80,000.

Additionally, Accenture has introduced an 'AI Navigator for Enterprises' to help its clients utilise AI to its fullest potential.

“There is unprecedented interest in all areas of AI, and the substantial investment we are making in our Data & AI practice will help our clients move from interest to action to value, and in a responsible way with clear business cases,” said Julie Sweet, chair and CEO, Accenture.

What is generative AI?

The generative AI system is mostly deployed to produce text, audio, and video in response to users' detailed requests.
