If you're wondering what happend to all the contact tracing data collected by the Aarogya Setu App during the pandemic then your question has been answered by the govt.

In a written reply, Minister of state for information technology Rajeev Chandrashekhar, told the Lok Sabha that all the contact tracing data that was collected by the Aaryogya Setu App has been deleted and that feature itself has been discontinued.

“In accordance with the provisions of the said protocol, the contact tracing feature of the Aarogya Setu mobile application has been discontinued and contact tracing data collected through it has been deleted," Rajeev Chandrasekhar told the Lok Sabha.

During the pandemic, the Aarogya Setu app was used as a contact tracing platform. It helped keep track of and locate people that a covid positive person may have been in contact with. However, critics raised security related concerns over the contact tracing feature of the app.

The app was made mandatory during the pandemic for public and private sector employees as well as for travellers.
