Brazil: protests erupt as nation's Covid death toll crosses 500,000

As Brazil's Covid death count crossed the mark of half a million, wide-scale protests erupted across the nation against President Jair Bolsonaro's administration. 

Thousands took to the streets to demonstrate against Bolsonaro's government, who they blame for the country's 'bad situation' at the time of the pandemic.

The Anti-government protesters waved flags anti-government slogans printed on it. 

Brazil has registered 500,800 deaths from 17,883,750 confirmed Covid infections so far, most after US that has the maximum number of Covid deaths.
