Bharti Airtel is ringing in gains and dialling in cheer for shareholders as the stock has been hitting a new life time high for the last three sessions.
At nearly Rs 4 lakh crore, Bharti Airtel has surpassed state-owned banking giant State Bank of India (SBI) in market-cap ranking. SBI market-cap stood at Rs 3.88 lakh crore, the BSE data shows.
Scrips of Bharti Airtel moved over 3% to Rs 717 level on Wednesday. The stock has gained nearly 40% from it's May lows.
The stock has been surging on multiple triggers from rolling out 5G solutions to entry-level tariff plans to fundraising plans to venturing into cloud gaming.
On August 30, the second largest telecom company in India announced its plan to raise funds up to Rs 21,000 crore by way of the rights issue, primarily to fund its dues linked to adjusted gross revenue (AGR).
