The Bombay High court ruled in favour of BCCI as it rejected the arbitrator's order for paying a hefty sum of over 4,800 crores to Deccan Chronicle Holding LTD, owner of the now-defunct IPL franchise Deccan Chargers.
This came as order over the dispute between the company and the Indian Board after it terminated the Hyderabad-based team in Sept 2012.
Last year, the High Court appointed arbitrator passed an order in favour of the Deccan Chargers that demanded BCCI to pay over 4,800 crores for illegally terminating the franchise
