BCCI president Sourav Ganguly defended wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant after he tested positive for Covid-19. The 23-year-old cricketer is facing flak for attending a Euro game at the Wembley stadium where he was seen clicking photos with fans without masks.
Pointing out the presence of the crowd at the Euro Championship and Wimbledon, Ganguly said, the cricketers were not in a bubble and it is impossible to wear masks all the time.
5 members of the Indian contingent are under quarantine in London ahead of the warm-up game starting 20th July.
