Assam Forest Officials Nab Trucks with Smuggled Wood

Two trucks laden with smuggled wood has been seized at Ledo, Assam. The trucks were headed from Assam to Arunachal Pradesh. People smuggle wood from the forests of Assam to be used in the illegal saw mills of Arunachal Pradesh. The Assam-Arunachal border area of Jagun and Tinsukia has become the passage for wood smugglers.
