Sameer Wankhede removed as lead officer from Aryan Khan drugs case: media reports

Sameer Wankhede has been removed as the officer in charge of the Aryan Khan drugs bust case, according to media reports

Five other cases, including the one against Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik's son-in-law Sameer Khan, have been handed over to a central team of the Narcotics Control Bureau, according to Ashok Jain, the Deputy DG of NCB's South-Western Region.

Wankhede will however continue to remain the zonal director of NCB in Mumbai. 

Sameer Wankhede is currently being investigated by NCB's vigilance team after allegations of bribery and corruptions against him.
