Tech giant Apple has temporarily shut all 53 stores in California due to a surge in Covid-19 cases. A spokesperson for the firm said some stores were being shut down out of an abundance of caution, and will restore services as soon as possible. 16 Apple stores in London have been shut down for now as well, due to restrictions introduced by the city authorities.
