Apple has sent out virtual invites for its ‘California Streaming’ launch event on September 14, which is widely expected to see the launch of the iPhone 13 series.

The tech giant has hidden an AR easter egg in the invite, which delighted Apple fans online. If a user visits the Apple Events page and taps the invite when using an iPhone or iPad, they will see an AR Apple logo. They can then zoom into it to see the launch date floating over a lake.

The easter egg uses Apple’s ARKit technology that is pre-built into iPhones and iPads, and therefore will not work from an Android device or a computer.
