Amitabh Bachchan has become the first Indian actor to be honoured by the International Federation of Film Archives. FIAF honoured Big B on Friday evening for his dedication and contribution to the preservation of the world's film heritage.
Filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan presented the award to Big B in a virtual ceremony. Praiing the veteran actor, Scorsese said FIAF couldn't have chosen a more deserving candidate for the award, while Nolan remembered a meeting with Bachchan and called him a living legend.
