Amazon's annual Prime Day event which is blockbuster sale day for the e-commerce giant will be postponed this year for India due to the covid crisis and localised lockdown leading to delivery disruptions.
Amazon’s flagship Prime Day sale is scheduled to take place globally in June but will not to be launched in India at that time as per reports.
Last year Amazon launched it's Prime Day sale in India in August and saw sales of as much as $500 million in the 2-day event.
