Actor Alia Bhatt has announced that her upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' will hit the theatres early next year.
Alia shared the news with her fans in an Instagram post & revealed that the film will release on January 6, 2022.
'Gangubai Kathiawadi' that went on floors in 2019, was initially scheduled to release on July 30 this year but got pushed due to production delays.
'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is a biographical crime drama tracing the journey of Gangubai from Kathiawad who became the most powerful, loved and respected madams from Kamathipura.

The Sanjay Leela Bansali film is touted to be loosely based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai written by S. Hussain Zaidi, and has Alia Bhatt playing the titular role.
