After battling pandemic, Noida's DM all set to represent India at Tokyo Paralympics

After battling the pandemic in his city, Noida's DM Suhas L Yathiraj is all set to face the new task at hand. The IAS officer will represent his nation for the Para-Badminton event at the Tokyo Paralympics starting August 24. Despite his onerous job, DM Yathiraj chalked out time for his preparations for the upcoming Paralympics. 

The bureaucrat who has won a gold and bronze for India at the Asian Para-Badminton event spoke about his challenges amid pandemic. The former Prayagraj DM who never gave up on his training, is confident of clinching a medal at Tokyo 2020.

Yathiraj qualified after Badminton World Federation granted India 2 bipartite quotas. He is now a part of the 7-member contingent at the Tokyo 2020.
