Indian golfer Aditi Ashok booked a berth for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on Tuesday. This will be the 23-year-old's second Olympics appearance. Ashok also participated in the 2016 edition in Rio, where she finished 41st.
Aditi finished 45th on the qualifying list, and is the highest-ranked Indian golfer in the women's Olympic rankings. thus joined Anirban Lahiri and Udayan Mane to make it a team of three to Tokyo.
An excited Aditi Tweeted to say that she is privileged to have the opportunity to represent her country & the sport at the Games again.
