Actors Taapsee Pannu & Sonam Kapoor have now spoken about the issue of pay disparity in the Hindi film industry and how male actors get paid more than their female counterparts.
Speaking about it to a leading daily, Sonam Kapoor said that the pay gap is ridiculous and she can stand up to it as she is privileged.
Taapsee Pannu who was last seen in 'Haseen Dillruba' added that if a female actor asks for more remuneration, she is termed difficult and problematic whereas if a man asks more it's a mark of his success.
She further revealed that the men who started working with her earn 3-5 times more than what she earns.
