Hollywood actor Brendan Fraser is all set to play 'Firefly', the villain in the DC universe's upcoming film 'Batgirl', where Leslie Grace plays the role of superhero.
Firefly is a super-villain whose real name is Garfield Lynns and is often known for going against Batman and Robin in the Marvel universe. He wears a flameproof bodysuit as he got horrendously scarred in a chemical explosion.

Brendan has already been a part of the DC Universe, as he has voiced Cliff Steele aka Robotman on HBO Max show 'Doom Patrol'
'Batgirl' is being directed by 'Bad Boys for Life' directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and 'Birds of Prey' writer Christina Hodson has scripted it.

Batgirl is expected to release on HBO Max in 2022.
