Ankita Konwar, who has often been targeted by trolls for marrying Milind Soman, a man much older than her, opened up about trauma from her past. In an Instagram post, Konwar says that she was abused as a child, judged for her appearance, was cheated by ones she trusted.
Talking about her issues, Konwar goes on to write in the caption, "So if you see me being optimistic, just know that I am!"
Earlier, she had talked about her past in a Humans of Bombay post featuring her husband Milind Soman and herself. In the post, Konwar attributed Soman for teaching her to let go, fall in love and to be happy.
She ended her caption by writing, "Love yourself"
