2nd ODI: Balbirnie's ton leads Ireland to first-ever win over South Africa

13 July, 2021 will go down in Ireland's history books as a memorable date, as they stun South Africa in the 2nd ODI by 43 runs, to pull of their first-ever one-day international victory over the Proteas. 

Batting first, captain Andy Balbirnie led from the front with a superb century and powered the hosts to 290/5. Chasing which South Africa missed key batsman Quinton de Kock and were bowled out for 247. 

With the first ODI producing no result, Ireland are now in for a great chance to claim the 3-match series when the third and final match is played at the same venue on Friday.
