Animals, including a reindeer, a polar bear and bison, at the Brookfield Zoo in Suburban Chicago were given recycled Christmas trees. The polar bear called Hudson even managed to find tasty treats like meat and vegetables hidden inside the tree branches. The zoo had over 650 trees to recycle and the ones not used by the animals were used in landscaping of the park's flower beds!
