Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the India Economic and Financial Partnership (EFP) meet hosted by US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in Washington on October 14. Also attending the meet will be Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System Jerome Powell and Governor Shantikanta Das of the Reserve Bank of India.
The department of Treasury said. “This meeting will address a range of critical issues, including economic recovery from the global pandemic, climate finance, multilateral priorities, financial regulation."

The finance minister is on a week-long trip to the US to attend the annual meet of the World Bank and IMF in Washington. The FM also interacted with investors at a round table hosted by US India Business Council and CII.
