India will be playing to their strengths in the World Test Championship final and have picked both Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in its playing XI for the Test match starting Friday in Southampton.

There were no surprises as such as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open the batting. Pujara, Rahane and skipper Kohli will strengthen the middle order, while Rishabh Pant will take the wicketkeeping gloves. Despite swinging conditions, India will start with 2 spinners in Jadeja and Ashwin. Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami will be the 3 pacers. Interestingly, it will be the first time these 5 bowlers will play together for India in a Test match.
