The Associated Press issued a statement on Saturday after Israel bombed a building housing its and other media office in Gaza.
All AP employees and freelancers evacuated the building safely as the Israeli military had called the owner of the building, asking him to vacate within an hour.
AP President and CEO Gary Pruitt said they are shocked and horrified and are seeking information from the Israeli government and are engaged with the US State Department to try to learn more.
He said the world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened on Saturday.
