The German chapter of the World Wide Fund for Nature or WWF has come up with a very topical post to highlight the importance of wildlife conservation.

Created by McCann Germany for WWF, the creative on the extinction of species features the Twitter bird which was recently replaced as Elon Musk renamed the social media site to 'X'.

The image showed various versions of the bluebird since 2006 and then shows the 'X' logo with the year 2023 written below it.

Posted by McCann Germany on LinkedIn, the post read, 'The whole world mourns the loss of the Twitter bird. Around 1 million real animal species are threatened with extinction. Today we are in the midst of the greatest extinction of species since the end of the dinosaur era. A quarter of mammal species, one in eight bird species, more than 30 percent of sharks and rays, and 40 percent of amphibian species are threatened. Help us save the animals'
